Interpretation: Built as a municipal building-permit register (City of Northfield, 30 permits, wards 1–7) with mixed facet grammars: multi-select type/ward checkboxes, single-select status/filed-window radios, and a one-sided valuation range. Counts are live cross-filtered with exclude-this-facet semantics; state syncs to the URL and restores on reload (verified end-to-end); the empty state offers counterfactual relief actions with computed yields plus a price-diagnosis sentence. Warm paper register aesthetic, one teal accent, WCAG-clamped dual-encoded status pills, Inter + JetBrains Mono numerics.
