Intro to the Wheel
A single evening at the wheel, from wedged clay to a finished piece you'll actually want to keep. We keep the group to six so every person gets their own wheel and a full 2.5 hours of throwing time — no shared stations, no watching from the back.
You'll centre, open, and pull your first cylinders with help at your elbow whenever the clay wobbles. Most first-timers leave with two or three bowls; the wonky ones are honestly the best part.
What's included
- All materials — 4 kg of stoneware clay, tools, aprons, and towels.
- Firing for two pieces — bisque-fired and glazed in your choice of four studio glazes.
- Collection from week three — or local delivery within E17 for £3.
- Tea and something baked — mid-session, while the wheels spin.
